She received her training at James Madison University, Oakland University and Wayne State University. As chief environmental scientist, Connie has performed over 10,000 air tests and environmental evaluations in thousands of buildings, including schools libraries, courthouses, commercial office buildings, hospitals, and private residences. With national recognition for her expertise, Connie has provided expert testimony and has been qualified as an expert witness in federal courts as well as numerous Michigan circuit courts. She has also served as a guest lecturer for professional development courses to industrial hygienists, building code officials, home inspectors, lawyers, and medical professionals.
